Headshot photography.

I’M THE PERSON WHO FIXES WHAT NO ONE ELSE WILL TELL YOU, AND THEN PHOTOGRAPHS THE RESULT.

An expert doesn’t just know things. An expert knows how to bring you into the conversation.

Being direct with you isn’t a style choice. It’s a professional obligation. I will tell you things your last photographer never mentioned — about your posture, your wardrobe, your expression, and how the image you think you want may not be the image that gets you where you’re going.

Not to be difficult. Because that’s what expertise looks like when it’s in service of you.

Client Reviews

“I thought I was getting a basic headshot, but instead, I went on a journey that was as fun as it was introspective and left me feeling confident in myself and what I was projecting to the world, which was completely unexpected.”

Simone Mino, Sydney, Australia, GOOGLE 5-STAR REVIEW

“Michael has a fantastic eye for style and offers gentle, expert coaching that brings out the best in each shot. From the start, Michael created a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere that made the session enjoyable. ”

Philip Stenberg, Las Vegas, Nevada GOOGLE 5-STAR REVIEW

“I hired Michael from Vegas to come to Anchorage, Alaska, and do my headshots and more. I am very picky and a professional photographer myself. He is fun to work with and understands the vision.”

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Because a standard headshot is just a picture; this is a marketing asset. Every session I offer, regardless of the package you choose, is built on a foundation of Visual Strategy. You aren't paying for a "click" of a shutter; you’re paying for the 30 years of expertise that ensures you don't look like an amateur. If an executive image helps you secure one more "yes," the investment pays for itself immediately.

  • I would be nervous if you were. Being "photogenic" is a myth; being nervous is a natural human function. My goal is to coach you through the session so effectively that by the time we’re finished, you will own the camera. We aren't waiting for a "lucky" shot—we are building one.

  • You can. But in the first three seconds, your potential clients will know exactly what you think of your own brand. If you don’t invest in your own image, you are telling the world you don't expect them to invest in you either.

  • We talk before we shoot. By the time I pick up the camera, the strategy is already set. We don’t "guess" our way to a good image; we execute a plan. I value your time as much as my own—we get in, we get the result, and we get you back to work.

  • We discuss this in your consultation, but the baseline is simple: Dress for the room you want to be in, not the one you’re in now.

  • That’s my job, not yours. I tell you exactly how to stand and where to look because I understand how posture translates to power. You don't live in my world, but I used to live in yours—I know how to bridge that gap.

  • I began photography in 2007. I began headshots in 2014, and this is the primary focus that I specialize in.
